We are excited to announce that our Urb Cultural Planning Conference will be held in Gdańsk on 29 – 30 June, 2020.
How to make our cities and neighbourhoods better places to live? What tools of change can we use?
In order to answer these questions, urbanists, city planners, artists, researchers, academics, students, youth, community organizers, politicians, and activists are more than welcome to join the 2nd Urban Cultural Planning conference GAME OF CITIES: CULTURE, PARTICIPATION, DEMOCRACY!
More specifically, we are going to:
- address challenges to democracy using cultural planning as a tool
- explore how can gamification facilitate social inclusion and spatial education
- investigate how we can empower citizens and have them more involved in the decision-making processes
During two full days of workshops, panel discussions, city walks and networking in a number of ways, we will learn the tools for change!
Pre-registration: From 15th of March 2020.
Final registration, incl. sign up for working groups: From 1st of May 2020.
