How do cultural practices contribute to a sense of place?
Visaginas Urban Lab “LOCAL STORIES & PLACE IDENTITY” took place online on 21 MAY, 2021.
Visaginas Urban Lab invites to explore participatory cultural practices in sustaining a sense of community and place identity by creatively vocalizing local stories. The event will gather cultural practitioners, community leaders, artists and researchers to exchange knowledge on empowering communities through culture and creativity.
The lab will consist of two blocks – a plenary and a discussion. In the plenary session, you will explore post-nuclear Visaginas and hear five speakers sharing their knowledge and experience. In the discussion session, you will be able to choose to participate in one of the four themed discussion groups.
